League Information

All Coaches Please Note: The 2010 Rules include many changes from the 2009 Rules. Please make sure you download, read and understand the rules before the season starts. If you have any questions about the rules or changes, please contact your commissioner.

The Minors League is for girls ages 5-6 

• 90 minute games
  
• Coach-pitch
• No hit-no out
  
• No score-no standings
• No bunting
• All bat every inning
• No umpires
• Emphasis on introduction of the rules, introduction to various fielding positions, teaching individual fundamentals, fun times by all.
• Games & Practices will be on Tuesdays and Fridays
  

The U-8 League is for girls ages 7-8 

• Games no time limit -no new inning after 95 minutes
• ASA rules apply with exceptions
  
• Coach pitch
  
• No hit=one out
  
• No stealing
  
• Scores and standings kept 
  
• Coaches umpire 
  
• 3 outs retire the side
  
• Instructional league with friendly competition encouraged   
• Continue to focus on individual fundamentals and teaching rules
  
• Added emphasis on team fundamentals
  
• Learning, improvement, fun mandatory!
• Practices & Games will be on Mondays and Thursdays
  

The U-10 League is for girls ages 9-10

• Games no time limit-no new inning after 95 minutes
• Girl pitch  
• Umpire provided 
  
• Coach pitch after 4 balls
  
• ASA rules apply with exceptions
  
• No walks
• No stealing
• No dropped 3^rd strike

• Instructional league with friendly competition encouraged
• Added emphasis on individual and team fundamentals and game strategies.
• Learning, improvement, fun mandatory!
• Practices & Games will be on Wednesdays and Fridays
  

The U-12 League is for girls ages 11-12 

• Games no time limit-no new inning after 95 minutes
• Umpire provided
• All girl pitch with walks
• ASA rules with exceptions
• Limited stealing
• Added Dropped 3^rd strike
• Instructional league with friendly competition encouraged
• Emphasis on equipping girls with individual fundamentals, knowledge of rules and team strategies to prepare them for school softball.  
• Improvement and fun mandatory!
• Practices & Games will be on Tuesdays & Fridays
  

The Majors League is for girls ages 13-18

• Games no time limit-no new inning after 95 minutes
• Umpires provided
• All ASA rules-no exceptions
• Friendly competition at a higher level of play
  
• Learning, improvement, fun mandatory
• Practices & Games will be played on Mondays & Thursdays
