League Information

Applicant numbers prior to deadlines will determine number of teams and age groups. Teams will be determined by tryouts if numbers exceed team positions (Cuts will be made and number of players will be decided by coaches for each team). Any player not selected will be placed on an Intramural team and refunded the difference in registration fees.

Criteria:

Practices will be determined by coaching staff and may vary in frequency, duration, day, and time.

League play will be 2 nights per week (Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays). About half of the games will be played in Hilliard while the others will be away games played at various other greater Columbus locations (such as Westerville, Dublin, Lancaster, etc.). Each player is responsible for their own transportation.

hGsa supplies 1 set of uniforms as part of the registration fees. Coaches may order additional uniforms, which will be paid for by the players once the team is selected. Uniforms consist of jersey and shorts.

hGsa also will pay for each team to attend 2 tournaments (usually on weekends and typically local). Additional tournaments will be the responsibility of each team. Coaches have the discretion to determine how many and which tournaments they will attend. (No refunds are given if teams attend less than 2 tournaments).

hGsa also supplies all league and umpire costs, supplemental insurance, and team equipment for the registration fee. Pictures are not included.

Coaches will determine playing time and positions. Playing time may not always be equal and level of competitiveness is higher than Intramural.
